Jacob Collier Audience Choir is the result of a partnership between Native Instruments and Jacob Collier during his 2024 Djesse world tour. Over 22 concerts, NI recorded live audiences singing harmonies that Collier conducted in real time from the stage, along with claps, stomps, and audience-level sounds. Those recordings became a free Kontakt Player instrument that lets you play those harmonies back as chords, melodies, or atmospheric beds.
The sound has a live-venue wash, but I think that’s very useful for layering. That said, you might find it too unusual to sit in conventional tracks. It’s definitely not a substitute for a classical or studio choir library. But it works great as a vocal texture for pairing with cinematic scoring or anything that benefits from a live-crowd dimension. 8 Player or higher.
